The Ruby Room has parking spaces right outside of the bar. Do not block the alley or driveway!
There is off street parking along University, which is free after 6:00PM and on Sundays.
After the Post Office is closed on Richmond Ave.
The DMV on Normal Street also has a lot that you may park in after hours, but not over night.
Take a cab because we make a stiff drink! Bobby Cab is our house cabby- (619) 884-1899.

We usually book 2-3 months in advance, sometimes more. Once you are confirmed, please reconfirm a day or two prior to your date just to make sure.

The Ruby Room is 21+ only. - Load in around 8 pm
if you want a sound check please request prior to date of performance.
PLEASE DO NOT book your band for another show in town within 2 weeks of your show at the Ruby Room, unless it's all ages.

The board is an Allen and Heath 16 channel board with three monitor mixes. We have two 15" subs and two FOH speakers. Not the loudest setup but we know how to make it sound good! Shiloh is your sound guy, he will be your first point of contact. Band members get two free drinks each, and can have one guest each, with some exceptions. More free drinks can flow if you rock out hard and you aren't jerks. Case by case basis! We have a green "room" which is actually in are ajoined restaurant, but let us know if you need it and we can set it up nicely for you.We usually charge a small door charge. That's how you get paid. If you want to do a free show please let us know way in advance and approve it with the other bands as well. Once again, thank you for playing the Ruby Room!

Next to Servall Liquor and across the street from Starbucks / Subway / Golden Spoon
You can easily reach us by heading East from the University, Washington, and Richmond 163 exits.
